Why doesnt the world buy oil from the former soviet countries?

they spend too much time buying oil from saudi...have they even heard of kazakhstan they have oil there....and pls although im not kazakh pls dont talk about borat...borat is crapWhy doesnt the world buy oil from the former soviet countries?
The main reason that oil is bought from Saudi Arabia is tha the corruption in Russia is rife, look at the problems BP are getting from the Russian government, after developing the Russian oil fields the Russians are trying to get rid of them.

You only see the problems we have had with Russian gas supplies to Europe, what we should do is cut back on gas open up more coal fired power stations using clean fuels technology, build more nuclear power stations with fission technology then tell Ivan to stuff his gas, Daikin market a central heating system using a condenser similar to a vrv outdoor unit so there is all our hot water needs both washing and heating far more efficient than present gas boilers.

We have enough gas for those who want to cook buy gasWhy doesnt the world buy oil from the former soviet countries?
The world does buy from former soviet countries, and Russia. Russia is a major supplier. Right now most comes from Saudi Arabia because they already have the infrastructure.
because their oil extraction infrastructure is so old and broken-down that isn't worth the effort, yet.
Russia supplies both gas and oil to the world, so I don't know where you are getting the idea that they don't.
basically they are now using a higher grade of crude to make gas/petrol, less polution. The Gulf is full of tankers with the lower grade crude that we used up until a year or two ago.
Haven't you seen Luke Oil gas stations in your neighborhood.
The world DOES !!
Probably cause they don't take Nectar...
lol,i like the borat part, lol.I agree
